Installing red light camera file

When installing a red light camera file, do you install it on the sd card or on the gps internal memory.

You can install it to either one

Installing POI file

If you are a new user, I'd recommend just putting it on the GPS unit to keep things simple.

For advanced users, keeping it on an SD card may make more sense. Rewritable non-volatile memory doesn't last forever and SD cards are cheap. You can create POI files on the fly, then move the SD card to your GPS when you need or easily move POI files between units if you need.

Note that the first time you start the GPS with an updated SD card you will get a prompt to install them right on the GPS anyway. To make this prompt go away without actually installing on the GPS, choose yes, then no.

Installing POI File

I totally agree with telecomdigest2. Update and keep your POIs on your computer in a File. Use PoiLoader to convert them into another file on your computer. (This includes regular POIs and Redlight cameras which I keep seperate). Update as many times that you want as the files are updated at POI Factory. You pick when you want to put them on your GPS or a SD Card (I do it once a week)you then up the most current on your computer and on your gps. My Camera files are on my nuvi my other converted files are on my SD card.
