Contact the maintainers
I just loaded over 600000 POI with 2.6.1 and had 4 files that had error.

Office Depot line 507
Marriot Hotels line 2456
Astronomy National and International line 407
Zoos USA and Canada line 27
Contact the maintainers and see if they will respond and fix them.

Office Depot US and Canada has column 2 at line 507 as follows: **35.131326"Office Depot - Matthews NC"**

Zoos USA & Canada has a double quote in column 2 of line 27 as follows: **33.098556"**

I didn't look at the others.

2597 Sometimes I wonder..."Why is that Frisbee getting bigger?"...and then, it hits me.

Also a site problem that was just fixed

There was also a site/download problem that just got fixed (6 May 2011, afternoon)..
see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/32969

Some csv files were being truncated, but JM fixed it today.

I suppose that might be why these badly formatted files are getting through again.

Geez.. ya can't win! (Unless you use GPX!)

It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.

In the case of Zoos USA and Canada there is a syntax error that would fail no matter which version of POI Loader was used:

-117.004855,33.098556","San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park"

when I run POIloader, it tells me an update is availabe and I update but it does not save the file on my computer. Each time I load the POI files it has to update. Is there anyway to save the file so I can just open it to use it?
