3D map file gone after 2011.40 update.

I have a 765T that had a 3D map file until I updated the map selecting "The 49 States" 2011.40.
Anyone else with this unit get a 3D file?

Did you check Settings/ Maps/ Map Info and make sure it was still checked?

It is NOT there, can't check nothing.

Re-download 2011.40
It may have been corrupted. I have my 3D's on my 775T, but I installed the whole file.

This must be a Garmin bug.
Downloaded the "Lower 49 States" again without any problem and reinstalled to device again, still no 3D image file.
Downloaded complete "Full coverage of North America" and installed to device. This download did include the 3D image file and it now appears on my device.
Good old Garmin, NOT.

If you want the 3D image file along with the Lower 48 mapset, simply backup the 3d image file elsewhere (gmap3d.img), then rerun the installation for the Lower 48. If the 3d file is gone/deleted afterwards by the Lower 48 install (don't know why it would be, but knowing Garmin...
), simply copy it from your backup to it's original location on the unit.

I have the same model and downloaded the 49 states as well and did not get the 3D file either. Guess I'll download all of NA as well to get it.

Same thing happened to my 765t no 3d map file, isn't the 2011.40 3d file different from the 2011.30 3d file? Does anyone know if the 2 files are the same(size)?
