Cameras in Champaign/Urbana, Illinois

I live in Champaign, Illinois, and according to this database and others that I have seen, there are no red light cameras or speed cameras in my area. I am inclined to trust this information. However, I see many traffic cameras in the area and what makes me curious is what looks like flash bulbs mounted on the main arm of the signal below, usually next to the signal lights. I don't have a picture of what I am talking about right now. But I was wondering if anyone had confirmation one way or another about what I am seeing, if I have explained myself well enough, that is! Thanks

I think you are seeing the lights and sensors that trigger the stop lights for the emergency vehicles.
A picture would tell for sure. All the red light cameras that I know of are on seperate poles away from the stop lights and the cameras face the intersection.

Yes, but..
The cameras match the ones in the bottom pics which are not red light cameras. However, it is the addition to the flash bulb underneath that puzzles me. Still don't have a picture, but thanks for the feedback regardless!
