I've lost

Sometimes Miss POI gets a little backed up what with 250,000 children she cares for on this site plus those she shares with Jon.

I resent that. I'm going to tell my mommy on you!

I'm gonna tell too - Miss POI for Mom of the POI Kindergarden School, and for President of the GPS World !

I will be getting caught up with work soon. My life is pretty hectic right now and I am working hard just to stay afloat.

Jon has been out of town for a week now and I have had a sick kid to take care of.

When things get hectic for me the first things to get neglected are updates to project already on the site. I continue to do the rest of my work but those projects take a lot of energy and thought. I have just not been able to focus time on those things the last few weeks.

Like you guys say, there is only one of me and hundreds of you. I work 7 days a week on the site, I rarely take time off.

I am taking some down time over the next few weeks while I deal with some major stuff in my life.

So if you have updates to other peoples projects, please hold off until I wave the white flag saying that I can handle the workload.

I am still researching camera locations and keeping up with the moderation of the forums and processing new projects.

I really don't know how you do it!!!

As was said earlier, we truly appreciate all you do for us. We were just having a few rogue comments between us unruly characters, and we didn't know you were in this situation. I hope you'll forgive us ?

We all want you to be well, and if there something we can do for you, just let us know. For once we'd be the ones helping you out - and about darn time we did, too!

In the meantime, we'll just pursue our "noise", hoping that you'll get some smile out of our comments - you'll read some of our notes ?

We'll be good, I promise - and we all want you in better shape, so do take the time you need, get that kid back in the saddle as well. And we'll hold the fort while you work your stuff out... We may need Jon at some point, though

Ah - one thing I noticed in this topic ? We're only here for you, Miss POI. I'm not entirely sure we care about them GPS thingies. Did you see all the flowers we brought to you in that page ? We'll get some more - I noticed a few nice gardens in the area, and they ain't doin' nuthin' with them flowers of theirs anyway !

Seriously, now - take good care of you, and we'll throw the wildets of parties as soon as you return !

Miss POI for President of the GPS World - what's a GPS, by the way ?

Just a thought here, but in order to ease your workload you may want to look to your most experienced members to assist you in vetting POIs and optionally, moderation.

I was thinking the same thing. Of course, that is up to Miss POI, but I would think she would find competent and willing helpers.
