After editing or creating a POI file using Excel 2007, what is the correct csv format to save the file. Looks like I have choices of "csv (comma delimited) (*.csv)" or "csv (MS-DOS) (*.csv)". With either format I get asked questions if I want to save or not. What are the proper responses. I am using a PC and not a MAC.
Also some of my existing Excel POI files have a green check mark on the file icon and others have an Explanation Point in a red circle on the icon. What do the different icons indicate?
Could the red ! point mean that the revised or new file has not yet been downloaded to the gps?

When saving in that format
When saving in that format Excel will throw up the following prompt:
"Do you want to keep the workbook in this format? To keep this format, which leaves out any incompatible features, click Yes. To preserve the features, click No. Then save a copy in the latest Excel format.
To see what might be lost, click Help."
Make sure "Yes" is selected.

! in Red Circle
Does anyone happen to know what the "!" point in the red circle in the file icon for a saved excel 2007 created CSV file means? There is either a green check mark or the ! point. The ! points makes me think that there is some kind of error.

Icon Overlays

Possibly icon overlays created by another piece of software like antivirus or backup programs.
