POI Limits on my 2720

Is there a limit to the number of POI files (or total size of them) on the StreetPilot 2720? If there is please explain how I can determine if the size limit has been reached.

Custom POIs on any unit are limited only by the space available to store them.
If the SP 2720 can read Custom POI from a memory card, then there is no limit up to the size of the memory card it can use.
Typically, you can store 10,000 - 18,000 Custom POI locations per megabyte of space.

When you hook your 2720 to your PC, does it show up as a "drive"? If it does, right click on the drive and select "properties" to check space.

You are correct. It is my 2610 that has the CF card.
My 2720 does not show up as a "drive" on my computer.

There's no way of telling, then.
Load some and it will tell you if there is not enough space.
Most likely there is probably at least 2MB of space. But that is just a guess.
