Wot, no tiny white invaders?

For the first time since Christmas, we've not had visitations this week from the tiny white invaders from the north--it's actually JUST too warm for 'em, and so we just get rain.

As long as aforementioned rain does not go into FREEZING rain, I'm fine with this. (Let's just say that a certain horrendous ice storm in January 2009 where I was knocked out of power for a good three weeks put the fear in me of freezing rain. Second time in no less than four months we had to throw out our freezer contents, too; we had Hurricane Ike go through the September before!)

As for the tiny white invaders, I have no problem with 'em (better snow than freezing rain and snow is easier to get around in).

all is well

Tucson getting back to normalcy after last weekends horror.
Memorial service for the fallen/wounded and surviving families marred by politicians and their high level appointees turning the affair into a pep-rally atmosphere ........... (never pass up a chance to speak to a nationwide audience).
The only thing missing were the Arizona Wildcat cheerleaders .... SADDENING !

Today is going to be a good day. I am finally over my fear of the treadmill after last years accident training for the race for the cure.

I am headed to the gym to get my workout on. 30 minutes on the elliptical, 30 on the treadmill and then weights.
