TRANSPARENT BITMAP ICONS FOR GARMIN

Hi everyone

Does anybody have a few transparent bitmap icons 24X24 to send me? - I have created my own to have them displayed on the Traffic Monitoring Points in the South African mapsets, but I can't get rid of the ugly white backgrounds!

Please keep in mind that I'm not very computer literate wrt editing photo's etc.

I'm still quite new to your forum and find it a bit strange to navigate in, but I'm learning fast.

We have a similar forum here http://www.garmap.co.za/forum//default.asp
in SA (which incidentally crashed yesterday afternoon) but should be up & running soon! (I Hope!) - Why don't you pay us a visit? - We are quite interactive!

I have a few

If you are looking for traffic lights, I have a couple you can look at. If they suit your needs have at it. The only ones that have transparent background are listed in the "Transparent Background" section.
If you need something special, let me know...however let me know quickly, I'll be moving soon, and don't know when I'll be back on line. Not too long I hope.

BITMAP ICONS

Thanks a lot man!! Really appreciate it!

Would it be possible for you to dish something up resembling a Mobile trap and fixed Camera.

I see your terminology differs somewhat from ours which makes it a little more difficult! - I took a clip-art of a camera on a tripod, reduced it to 24X24 for the Mobile traps, but couldn't get the Transparency right!! Same for the Fixed cameras - we have the Red Light cameras included in the fixed cams along the Highways and Main Routes. - For this I took just a camera, but it looks crappy!!

Thanks for the help - Appreciated!!!

Hi Ismonop

I tried the link you supplied, but it doesn't seem to work properly! - Would you perhaps post it again?

Thanks
