Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone could tell me if my old Nuvi 755 is working properly. I recently updated maps and software.. later that night, I headed out to run an errand... took the nuvi with me and just had the " map " displayed.. No destination, just the map that followed me as I drove thru town. I noticed that in the "map" mode the speed limit indicator would appear on the lower left hand side of the display, when I would go over the limit, that indicator would turn red and display the speed I was actually driving. On my return trip home, I set up the nuvi to take me home, only this time, there were no speed limit indicators on the gps... Did I screw something up? It seems to me the last time I took this unit out on the road ( last summer ) it did show the speed limit sign even when the nuvi was taking me to a "destination". Now it's only doing that when it's showing me the map, but not actually leading me to a destination. Any help you can lend is sure appreciated. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas everyone.

Not all roads have the speed limit data assigned to them with the maps. If you've taken the exact way on the exact roads with inconsistent speed limit data being displayed, that's something I've never seen before. First thing I'd try if this were the case would be to do a hard reset on the unit.
