Uploading a gpi to POI factory?

I have a couple of gpi files for over night dry camping with an RV on the Alaskan Hwy that I have made for my Garmin. They work well.

Can a gpi format be uploaded to this site or only gpx and csv formats?

With gpi no need for anyone to have to use POI factory but rather just move the gpi file over to their Garmin, POi directory.

gpi

We have always downloaded csv and gpx files to the site.Miss Poi would have to answer that. You may want to email her.The only problem with loading a gpi file to the site.If the user wanted to make changes are add alert. They would have to convert it to a gpx or csv.

GPI files only work in Garmin units and can't be used on other units without major work. Also, with a CSV or GPX you can change the layout if you want.

I think you meant POI Loader 9as opposed to "POI factory".

As has been implied, .gpi files would not be used by members of this site who do not have Garmin Units (ie Tom-Tom, Magellan and "Other GPS brands") [click on the "Discussion" tab at the very upper right of this page to see forms for non-Garmin units].

To get a complete picture of what you have done to create your .gpi files, tell us what you did to get your Alaskan Way points into the .gpi format.
