New 1350T won't show POI's in Extra's using MicroSD?

Hi everyone,

I just bought a 1350T and it has a MicroSD slot, I copied my 33,500 POI's onto it using garmins POI loader and press extras and I get NOTHING!

If I unload the POI's on the card and load them onto the MicroSD card they work!

Anyone getting their POI's to work when loading them on a MicroSD using a 1350T? ? ? ?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I'm not certain about the 1XXX

I'm not a sure with the 1XXX models, but on the remainder of the Nuvi line the SD card has to have the same folder structure as the main unit. That means a \Garmin folder with the folder for your POI under it (\Garmin\POI). The folder on the SD should have the same name as the one on the unit holding POI.

Your right

Your right POI loader creates the same file structure it just isn't used when you select Extras, the internal Garmin\Poi\ directory is used instead.

I had hoped there was something that could be done to change that.

Thanks for the replys.

Yup, have a 1350 & I can

Yup, have a 1350 & I can load any or all POI's on the micro SD card (SDHC) 8 GB. No problems.

You just need to set the POI Loader so that the POI's go to the card, not the GPS drive. That's all.
