I got a replacement battery for my 660 from BatteryShip. Fast shipping and they include a free set of tools to take the Nuvi apart. (Cheap tools granted, but they worked for me).

Anybody know of a good place to buy a New Battery for my 885?
They have them for sale right on garmin.com. Easy to deal with and you know you're not going to end up with some third party battery, a la the lithium ones that catch on fire with no recalls.
Recently replaced battery in my 765T for $19.95. Purchase battery from www.batteryship.com (Free shipping and PDA tool set). Took about 20 minutes to complete battery replacement.

I just wrote to garmin to see if they will do anything. The date on the battery is 2/5/10 not even a year old.
