POI's on a SP2720

I am a noobie at POI's on my Streetpilot 2720. I use my 2720 on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, and want to download all of the Harely dealerships. When I try to download the US and Canada dealerships, only some show up in my favorites, not in Custom POI's. I can also find them when I go to Where To on the first screen, then extras, then custom poi's. Seems they should be all there (1844 of them)but only northwest ones, and they are not where I thought they should be. How do I get them to show under my data/custom poi's and get them all there? Thanks!

1. If you use POI Loader to load them, they will not show up under Favorites. They will show up under Extra > Custom POIs. If you use MapSource or some other similar program to send them to the unit, they will show up under the Favorites.

2. The unit will show the 50 closest location to your current position. The list will change as you move. The rest are there and can be searched by spelling the name.

Thank you, that makes sense.
