When I got my 755t it had a sneaker vehicle icon. Is there a way of getting it back?

Yes
Touch Tools > Settings > Map > Vehicle > and then press the down arrow on the bottom right of the screen until you find the sneakers.
Restored Defaults?
That's my guess. ;^D
You can also acquire new vehicle icons at a variety of sites including the "Garmin Garage" (in case you actually deleted it.
