I am looking into buying a Garmin Nuvi 1300. Need some advice

Right now, I have a Garmin 360 but I am looking to buy a Garmin 1300. Can anyone please give me some advice if I should or shouldn't buy the Garmin Nuvi 1300? Currently, Walmart sold Garmin Nuvi 1300 4.3' for $118.00
Next month I'll be travel to Texas from California so therefore I need a new Garmin, hopeful something more reliable then the one I currently have.

Thanks,

Here's a nice comparison chart with a rough outline of the various features.

Personally, I'd bump up to at least the 1350 or 1350T for lane assist and speed limit display.. plus traffic, if that's of interest to you.

For $20 more, Amazon has a new 855. And for ~$120, Amazon has a refurb 1350/1350T... or new for ~$148.

You might want to check a number of other current forums that are dealing with the same upgrade question. Common advice seems to be it all depends on what features you want.

I had looked at upgrading my 360 but after reading the various posts and doing the comparisons - I'll stick with the 360 - I like the MP3 and Audible books feature as well as the bluetooth capability. Never had a frozen screen and the unit has, as I'm sure you know, always performed flawlessly.
