My Nuvi 200 display is in a delay type mode?

I was using my Nuvi 200 tonight when I noticed that the display was delaying showing my position. It would just freeze for a few seconds, then catch up, freeze again and then catch up. It works fine in the map mode( no destination entered). Any ideas? Thanks everyone.

Have you tried getting a software update or doing a hard reset? I was having screen issues with my Garmin (they were a lot different than yours, however) and I called Garmin. They first had me download the Software WebUpdater to my computer, and update my Garmin. Then he told me to do a hard reset (turn off garmin, turn back on, and hold the bottom right-hand corner while it turns on). He said hard resets often get rid of some of the quirks your device may have.

Good luck! If you keep having the same issue, call Garmin. They are very friendly and helpful.

:D

Look at you go, girl! Already an old pro... Way to go, Jessica! grin

I did load the last update,

and I also did the reset. It worked for awhile then started having the same problem. Next stop: call GArmin. Thanx Jessica.

No problem! They will most

No problem! They will most likely tell you to reset and do update so just tell them you have done all that. Most likely you will have to send it in to them for repair.

Hard reset

Make sure you did a true hard reset (where you get the prompt "Do you want to erase all user data") and not just the "power reset" (where you hold the on/off switch for a few seconds). Dorkusnimrod describes the hard reset procedure here: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/26136
