Garmin Questions (tried to install another file)

Hey...I can really use some help....thanks in advance!
1) When I loaded a poi file into my Garmin, the file went into "extras" as a custom poi. I tried to install another file, and it appeared that it overwrote the other custom poi file....or I could not find it. What did I do wrong?

You have to reload everything at the same time. New always overrides the old, doesn't add to it piecemeal.
P.S. Put everything you want to load in one folder, then load the folder.

another way is,
you rename poi.gpi to something else, such as RLC.gpi or SpeedCam.gpi. As long as they are in poi folder on Gamin device.

Also...All the custom poi's go in to the "extras".

I create a folder named "My
I create a folder named "My POIs". Then I create a sub-folder under it for each category of POI I'm dealing with, ie, one folder named KOAs, another named "Rest Areas". I then point POI Loader to the folder named "My POIs". Each subfolder loads to Extras as a separate entity.
