Noobie question (show pre-loaded POIs on map)

I just bought my first GPS (a Nuvi 3760) and I was curious about something I haven't been able to find an answer for. Without any extra POI files, should POIs that Garmin has "pre-loaded" show up on the map when navigating? I have turned on "more map detail", but it just seems like I get more street detail.

I think most of the past answers to this question are that you need to zoom in to around 200-300 foot view to see the POI markers. You will likely find more detail if you do a search on this site or check the FAQs section Good luck!
