Haven't Been Around Much

My Aunt ended up in the hospital last Thursday and since I am her only living relative, I was tied up helping her, talking to her doctors, etc.

And it was her birthday Sunday, so we brought her a cake, cards, flowers & a H.B. balloon to the hospital.

She is doing much better and should be released today. I'm waiting for the phone call to come pick her up and take her home. grin

Have a great week everyone exclaim

Still waiting for the phone to ring. It all depends when the doctor makes her hospital rounds.

It has rained every day since the end of last week with only occasional breaks. But when it wasn't raining, it was still cloudy & overcast. There are toad stools growing in most people's yards around here, its so wet.

Strange for California...

Yes, hope all had a great Independance Day! We did. Saw a great fireworks display, hung out with our best friends, and didnt get our house burned down because of all the illegal fireworks that were set off.

Been a strange year here in So Cal. It should be 100-115 in the valley, and we are getting overcast mornings and mild 85-95 days.

I am ok with it as I work outside, but I feel for you all on the east coast as you are not used to it, plus all the humidity you have.

We usually stay between 20%-40% at those temps and is tolerable. It doesnt causing massive sweating, just takes your breath away sometimes.

Its a little tricky since your sweat evaporates so quickly here, you have to remind yourself to hydrate often. I know those in Phoenix AZ can relate....

Be well everyone!

Everyone

have a safe week. Enjoy today, right here, right now!

Greeting

We experience an electrical power brown out yesterday.
Temperature here has a humidex of 40 for the rest of the week

Cheers

Week

Have a great week.

I'm planning next vacation with GPS grin

Summer

Been a While since the country has seen a heat wave that has stuck around for a long time, covering such a large region. A couple days of cooler weather would be nice then bring it on again.
