$449????

A good review but sorry but I don't see any dramatic reason to upgrade for that price. It appeared to be slow, no great new features and the glare on the screen is awful...I think I will stick with my 1490T with the 5" screen and all the features I need.

Very interesting

A good review. Probably won't be getting one.

Nice design

But not for me. I got windows phone and iphone with maps program. Good to go for everyday!

I'll Wait

I don't see a great deal of improvements from my current Nuvi 1690. I kept my Nuvi 680 as long as I could until it stopped working. Will do the same with my 1690.

Not much of a review

That was a poor review IMO. He mostly seemed bothered by the fact the voice is the same as other Garmin's. There are tons of features on this model he doesn't even mention or demonstrate. The GPSpassion review is more comprehensive.
