Hiding stuff in MapSource

How do I hide all of the little icons which represent the POI's from the Garmin database. I want to look at the map in the highest detail, but every thing on the map is covered up with all these little icons which represent the POI's.

Go to Preferences|Display| and then Services and Light Sectors 'Off'.
