What do you think about this camera thought?

Suppose cities start using cameras to monitor parking metered spaces for time violations? The cameras could be put in short term areas, such as 15 minute spaces, and take pictures of the car violating the time allotment for parking. A wifi connection between the meter and the camera could provide the information for the time expiration. Big Brother is watching!!!

Too Late

It's probably too late but keeps this idea to yourself. wink

It's been done

Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but it sounds close. I think I have seen stories on other parking ticket schemes as well.

As for what I think about it, I don't like it because no ticket is put on the vehicle and I would prefer there to be a little bit of a grace period, like maybe 5 minutes. I don't know about you, but I would be extremely mad about getting a ticket for a 1 second violation.

Soon

I am sure this will be coming to the city of Chicago soon. Anything to generate revenue.

Parking Tickets

Big Brother is already out of control.

Camera's

I believe that the Cities are finding out that the cost of the cameras too high, and the cost to operate is bad.
