Descriprion of PoiLoader v2400 betastates:
- Added support for uninstalling all custom POI's from a device.
Is there anybody that can explain me how to do it ?
Delete all POI files on your computer. Connect gps to computer and then use POI Loader. That will erase all your custom POI files on your gps.
I can't seem to find the uninstall feature in POI Loader 2.4. Using a C530.
The latest version of POI Loader (beta), 220.127.116.11 has eliminated this feature. There has been much discussion on this site about whether it should or will return in a future version. In the meantime, you can do one of the following:
1. Load a new POI (can be a small file) and that will replace all of the custom POIs on your GPSr.
2. Connect the c530 to your PC and examine the drive. You will find a folder named POI with a file called POI.gps. If you delete this, your custom POIs are removed.
You can also just delete (through windows explorer) the poi.gpi file.
Will may way work or was this bad advise?
WILL work, i've just tried this a couple of hours ago. It's a simple file the person above is talking about.
windows explorer, locate the file and delete it. poi.gpi
