I am late; work is taking too much of my time.

No, really, there are cows on the highway, a whole herd, all over the palce. How come they never showed on my Garmin?

No one told me the Contributors of the Week were having a get-together!!

Only if you get a red light or speed camera ticket, should you feel conflicted.

We also go to Chick-fil-A every Sunday for the free brunch buffet. At least in my area. It's the one off Aircraft.

Well, I took the next step tonight and connected the two via bluetooth. Made a phone call through the GPS.

So I guess the relationships are still good.

Getting some much needed rain tonight.

Well the weather in Tacoma Wa is getting a lot nicer lately.

Lot's of light greetings and pithy observations this week. Week's almost gone and weather's great. Hope the weekend is perfect for all.

Cold & rainy here. Where did the warm weather go? At least the lawn is happy with the water.

My father is 93, in good health but a little behind the technological curve. The other day as I was taking him somewhere, I had my NUVI 265WT on with the "Karen / Australian" voice calling out turns.

He had a look on his face similar to a hog staring at a digital clock. Eventually, he asked, "how long does she work?". I said, "what do you mean, Dad?" He said, "well what time does she quit for the day?".

I explained that "Karen" was not someone sitting somewhere with a map and microphone, but rather a program on a GPS. This seemed to suffice for a while.

Several days later, as "Karen" was calling out turns, streets and distances, he asked, "how many people does she do this for at a time?". I again explained the operation of a GPS and the included voice files.

Several days later he asked if the communication was one or two way, or could I talk to her to clarify things and would she talk back to me.

I explained to my girlfriend that Dad holds on to the notion that "Karen" is indeed a live person sitting somewhere with a map and microphone.

She suggested I change to voice to a male. So I did yesterday. When Dad was riding with me I turned on the male "British" voice. He thought and thought then finally asked where Karen was. I said she was on vacation and this guy is filling in for her.

sorry about the late post ,I am working 12 on 12 off 6 days a week.I do not know what day it is.I have to use my GPS just too find my way home every day !!!

The weather here on DelMarVa is really messed up lately. Yesterday it was in the low 80's, today it's in the low 60's, and tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 80's again.

Happy Armed Forces Day to all, and a great big salute to all our men and women in the armed forces. We love and thank them all.

The only hard part is getting all those window critical updates.Stayed up until 1 am and now just getting to sp3.I must admit though, mark improvement in the old computer.

Summer is trying to take over !!!

I definitely must be the last to post for this week.............went cross-country and didn't even look at a PC screen for the whole trip..........my E-mail box was unbelievable upon my return.........must do something about that in the future

What a beautiful weekend we had....TOO BAD we lost both of our ball games this weekend.

Finally got the computer restored.Hope I don't have to do that again any time soon.

We enjoyed the trip from N. IL to Branson. We visited 2 covered bridges and discovered a round building not on the list. A tornado passed between us and Springfield MO.
