NUVI 350 CONFUSED

NUVI 350 SENDS ME AROUND IN CIRCLES. It seems to be looking at my way points and adds them to the standard nuvi maps and sends me around in circles. It did it in three cities I was trying to bypass last month. I've bypassed these cities many times before and the nuvi worked fine. I have reset the nuvi and it didn't seem to help. Is it time for a new one?

I'm not clear about the problem.
If your waypoint coordinates are not close enough to where you actually drove, the NUVI may think that you never made it.
I've had cases where you enter an address or an intersection and the point was on the other side of the street of where you actually drove to get there. As far as the NUVI is concerned you took a new route and it had to recalculate. It will recalculate until it gets you to that original point.

Thanks for the input. That my be what is going on but on a larger scale. The NUVI often takes me through the center of a city for the fastest route but I never take that route because of the traffic congestion. I usually add a way point around the city on the outer loops. This is where I had the problem with NUVI. It took me around the outer loop (my way point) and then turned me around and tried taking me back through the center of town in a continuous loop. I have used my NUVI for several years and never had this problem until this year. I think my NUVI may have DEMENTIA!
