How does sat-nav work?
Professor Cathryn Mitchell from the University of Bath explains as she finds herself navigating around London.
That was quite interesting.
Bloody good . . . explanation that is!
I especially enjoyed her comment near the end that a fourth sat signal helps to overcome the "cheap clock" built into most hand-held gps. That ia a good little video to show the kids when they ask how gps works! Gotta love the BBC.
