Maybe someone can help me with this: I don't know why, but my GPS unit doesn't provide a good level of sound when it call the indications. It always run ok but this problem show up today. Everything work fine with my POI sound alert and my MP3 songs.

The level is at 100% but we can hardly hear the voice.

Any clue ????

Re: Sound Problem / Garmin 660

I was away from my computer and you had posted a follow-up, by the time I clicked on "post comment"

Anyway, this (below) is what I posted...

Hi BigBen63,

Two possible alternatives...

1. Use the built-in FM transmitter, in conjunction with your FM car radio, instead of the internal speakers, on your Núvi 660.

2. Get a cassette adapter, if you have a cassette player in your car and plug it into the earphone jack on your unit.

I use the cassette adapter and my sound is adjustable, through the volume control, on my car radio.

If you don't have an FM radio, or a cassette player, I suppose you could, as a last resort, use headphones (with your internal speaker selected).
