Still don't see icons

I have a Nuvi 765T that I have downloaded some POI files for and also the appropriate icons. As far as I can tell the files have the exact same name except for the extension types. I still can't see an icon for any of the POI's. I want to be able to zoom out and have any of the POI's of a specific type display. Is this possible? What am I doing wrong? I am using the correct POI loader software, AFAIK (downloaded Garmin POI loader, software states the X# of POI's have been loaded).

You can only see the icons if you have zoomed into the 200ft scale. Otherwise nothing shows. Icons don't show in the Extras->Custom POIs list either.
On my Kenwood/Garmin in-dash unit you can set the scale at which the icons will stop showing (so you can set it so that you have icons all the way out to a scale of 5mi). I didn't see anyway to do this on the nüvi.
I don't think you're doing anything wrong - it's just how the nüvi is.

Icons at zoom out
On my Nuvi 1390T If I want to see Icons I have to make them Favorites and make sure an Icon is set then they show up on the Zoomed out maps. As I have been adding new places from Google maps in my garmin I set them as a favorite, now an Icon shows up on the big screen. But remember the defualt Icon is a little black Dot, I have to edit the favorite and change to a storded Icon (Knife and Fork, or a Bed, Beer mug) an then they show up.
