No Fix Yet for v.3.90

I received the latest reply to Garmin's attempt to fix my traffic problem with the 765T using v. 390.
"At the moment engineering has been looking into this issue. We have not been quoted a timeframe in which to expect a fix for this issue, but it is something they are trying to diagnose and resolve.
Once a fix is in place, I will be sure to let you know."
Garmin has been working on my problem since early March.
Based on Nimrod's advice I am using 3.60. However, that means that I cannot receive updates to other software for the unit unless I have 3.90 installed.
I hoped this is not an unsolvable problem that eludes the Garmin engineers, sort of like the Toyota acceleration issue.

Curious and others: When I go to MyGarmin I receive the message that there is an update to my unit, if I load it is 3.90 again and possibly other software, but I can not be sure. On WebUpdater, I receive the message that 3.90 is an update to 3.60 and unless I load it, I cannot access the window below that informs me of other updates, e.g. voice etc.

One of the first things is to quit using the Dashboard. It will always tell you there is an update when there isn't any update. Watch the forums here, updates are usually announced along with a copy of the release note telling you what they tried to fix.

Does Not Solve Software Update Problem
Avoiding Dashboard does not solve my problem with WebUpdater. In order to learn about and access any software updates in the bottom window of WebUpdater, I must install or have installed 3.90
