Phone Compatability

We have just purchased a Nuvi 1490T and think that it is great. Now we want to get a new phone but the compatability list as stated in other posts is not kept up to date and what's more it only seems to have US models on the list. So, can anyone tell me if the Samung Jet or the Samsung B2700 (both sold in Australia and I think the UK) work well on the Nuvi 1490T including phone book and other features.

In case no one chimes in, you can always bring your Nuvi to the cell store and test it on the demo models.
