Simulation speed on Garmin Nuvi 255

Hi I am a newbee using the Garmin GPS. I was just wondering if there was a way to increase the simulation speed for the Garmin 255 when running in simulation mode

Can change start point.

What you can do is change the start location for the simulation mode.Put unit in simulation mode,touch map and drag to location you want to start from.Touch the location,then touch set location at bottom of screen,touch back and then menu.Go to your custom pois and select one and touch go.It will start from your new location.
