Garmin Traffic Issues Today?

My 765t traffic is working in Atlanta, Ga. Not sure if it is Navteq or Clearchannel.

MSN Traffic service hasn't seemed to be working on my 680 in the Detroit area over the last couple of days...

My traffic and all else that is expected doesn't work here in Hilo Hi.
The only service is in Honolulu, I came from Charleston SC and expected it to work at least in some places here. The site shown NO service at all on the Big Island

Still nothing. I've reset the GPS and also tried a different power cord. Not sure what to try next or if I should call garmin support.

Seems like it could just be that your local radio station carrying the traffic signal may have a problem at the moment. I'd give it a couple days before calling Garmin.

traffic signal on my 775T work fine in Houston

I now have the green circle for the traffic indicator (for about 3 days now). It never changes even though I have seen plenty of traffic delays.

I have not done any updates in fear of making things worse after reading about the 660's
Currently have software ver. 3.7 and map ver.2010.4

Any help would be appreciated.

Is Garmin going to do anything come 2012 when msn traffic stops ?

Boy that's the $64,000.00 question.. I tried to find out as well but to no avail. Garmin is still out to lunch on that problem. I don't know why they wouldn't upgrade to GPS's we have or make some kind of deal with MSN..

I've been talking to some of the senior execs at AT&T about building a NuLink cable for the MSN units. They say it is an interesting idea.

My traffic is working just great on my nuvi

Just got back home, traffic working fine on Garmin 255wt

I have a nivu 1450 and also have traffic issues. The people at Garmin know there is a problem with no color-coded traffic flow in traffic map mode. All other functions work OK. Software version 5.70 causes this problem. A real pain in the BUTT. Taked with NICK at GARMIN on 12-14-2011 and gave him detailed info of problem. Also downloaded some stuff and mailed it to him for the software people to look at. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

PS. Hope you don't get a IDIOT on the line like I got before I talked to NICK. Could not understand his english and was like talking to a small ROCK.

I have a 660 with LMT (purchased separately). I have the latest Traffic Firmware, 660 firmware and the latest USA map.

I have never had lock-up problems, etc. The only problem I have is with some of the routing choices that the 660 makes.

Traffic works fine. As a matter of fact, it notified me about a 26 min. backup at the usual bottleneck, as soon it "calculated" the course home. Since I needed gas anyway, I re-routed and got gas at Sam's Club for 2.98.
