Start with the chains

Start by finding any restaurant chains that are all you can eat and include all those locations, then add places like this:
Nordic Lodge
178 E. Pasquiset Trail
Charlestown, RI
41.425321, -71.627878
http://www.nordiclodge.com/

The place is out in the middle of nowhere, has very peculiar hours, has always been pricey, yet we used to take road trips there a couple of times a year back when the prices were (a lot) lower. Most people went for the all-you-can-eat lobster, but they had great prime rib and tons of other fantastic food.

great idea, but it will

great idea, but it will definitely ruin my already pathetic dieting.

The menu looks great

I would agree $82.00 is pricey, but with the items on the menu I am sure it is worth the cost. I need to start saving money for October. Thank you for the lead.

Add This One

Golden Corals have chains and they are all you can eat.

If you've never been, and the price isn't excessively painful, it's even worth the $82 they're asking these days - the Lodge is one of those legendary places that has to be experienced to be believed. Where else can you get all you can eat Fillet Mignon, Prime Rib, King Crab Legs, Lobster, Steamers, tons of great desserts, etc., all in one place? A couple of caveats though - the price never used to include regular drinks, although it did cover Haagen Dazs milkshakes. And there's a 2 hour time limit, if you stay longer, you get charged more. 2 hours is plenty of time to eat, but you don't want to stick around and chat after dinner.
I almost forgot about the raffles - they used to raffle off a *big* lobster (5-10 lbs) every couple of hours, which may have only been on Saturdays. They wheeled it around on a cart so you could see how big it was. I've seen plenty of lobsters in my day, but I've never seen any as big as the ones they used to raffle.

good all-u-can-eat buffet

Not sure how many chains I can eat. This deal is probably wasted on me.

All you can eat

Are you just doing chain all you can eat restaurants, or are individual ones good as well?

B

All you can eat

A POI for all you can eat places would be great

Speaking of all you can eat lobster...

I've found the Boston Lobster Feast, a small chain in Orlando, to be an excellent place as well. The location near the convention center is the good one (I've gone to them all). They also had a great prime rib and have been running an AYCE King Crab Leg special recently http://www.bostonlobsterfeast.com/RestaurantIndex.cfm
