Wouldn't you know, I pick up a cold right before vacation. The week wasn't so bad with a stuffy nose but I'm back to work and am in the persistent cough phase.

Crazy spring weather
Sunny and 65 degrees (20 degrees above normal) here in NE Illinois for the last two days, definitely the nicest two days of 2010 so far, and of course there's snow in the forecast for tomorrow night
not only for us but for a large swath from Oklahoma to the northeast.

just returned fm an unexpected prolonged reunion/golf trip ................... friday to monday turned out to be friday to friday.Refreshed old memories with former army comrades and met a few newbies .... golf courses aplenty in the San Diego area,and military course greens fees were too cheap to pass up .... played 5 straight days (36 holes two of the five).... all in all,a very pleasant and rewarding week.
