Has anyone had problems with mapsource and windows 7. I have loaded the original c/d from garmin, then went to the downloads on garmins site and downloaded the latest mapsource file, it looks like it downloaded but it wont update to the latest file. Does it take a patch or something to get it to update, or am i not doing something in win7 to get it to take it. any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't have Windows 7, but
I don't have Windows 7, but I always update from Mapsource. I dont have it on this pc, but it is under Utilities or Help>Check for software updates.
It loads software update and launches Mapsource.

Have you tried the Compatibility Mode yet? It may help. When I was Beta testing, I didn't see too much W7 wouldn't run...
