Thanks

I wanted to know this as well.
Also when I find a new Camera location, how do I save to location to share it here? With the Coodinates?
David

You save

by pressing down on the screen momentarily. Then a screen pops up with current location information and option to save location. At least on a Garmin Nuvi 255

Save the Location

The coordinates are not necessary to report a camera location, but it sure helps! You can save the location with the GPS by being there, or you can look at the map in the GPS and mark the intersection. Either way you get the coordinates using the GPS. A more accurate way is to use Google Earth on your PC and view the intersection to mark it in the center to get the coordinates. It is safer than walking with the GPS out in the street! Then go to POI Factory and click on "report an enforcement camera," give the coordinates, town, state, the names of the streets, and what kind of camera (red light or speed). And thanks for being a contributor!

I've never done it yet but this is what I would do to send it here if I found new rl location. From the link below, you can type address or pint point locations. Then you can get lat/long.

Report Enforcement Camera Locations

You can help keep the database current by reporting red light cameras or speed cameras in your area.

* camera type (red light, speed, or both)
* describe the map location (usually cross streets)
* mention the city & state

Lon/Lat coordinates are helpful (and very important if the camera is not located at an intersection)

With speed cameras, please include the speed limit and direction of travel (e.g., East bound)

The suggestion about using itouchmap is a good one. I use it quite frequently.
