Gas Price information on the Nuvi 680

I was wondering if anyone can comment on the usefulness of the gas price information from the Nuvi 680. I subscribe to 3 gas price services on the internet, MSN, Motor Trend, and Gas Buddy. It seems to me that the information on the MSN seems the most out of date-meaning that the prices posted for the stations hasn't been updated in 2-3 days. Can the 680 users please comment on this feature?

Gas Prices

I find that the prices on my Nuvi 680 are generally listed as being 2 days old and in some cases older. A few are listed as being current or only one day old. Under "normal" cirucmstances (whatever "normal" is) this would probably be acceptable, however, with gas prices rising by the day - if not by the hour - this information is a bit dated. Generally though I have noticed that even if the cheapest price is not the current price - it is still generally the cheapest. So I still find the information helpful.

I guess once the summer is here and vacations start the gas companies will stabalize their prices at whatever outragous price they feel they can demand without drawing too much scrutiny from Congress or others!

I can't comment on the gas

I can't comment on the gas prices since I have never used it. I usually go to where I know is always the cheapest in the area which I live. But I will make a check just to see how correct the info in another post.
