Is there a way to add custom POI icons w/out having custom POI files?

The default POI icons are a bit sparse, and I'd like to be able to add some that can be selected for any POI. Is this possible?

Actually Quite a few built-In
I can't comment on the 1690, but my 765T has 88 built-in icons that you can attach if you use gpx format and know their 'internal' name and put it in the 'Symbol' field.
..plus eventually the other 'embedded' ones that Turbo is working on ..
Someplace I think I have a 'test' gpx poi file with all of the 765T symbol names entered. Email me if you'd like me to send it to you.
It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.
