Question on poisync

In the poifiles.txt file which identifies which file one wants to download, where do you get the location names where node=xxxx come from.

I like the program a lot & have made it work with the test data, but am not sure where the above info is found so I can download other files available.

Thanks.

On my system (Windows 7) Instead of downloading the csv I right click and pick *save location*.
Then paste in in my poifiles.txt and add the location on my HD to save it to the end.

From the documentation:

How to get the URL for the POI file

To get the URL for the POI file, navigate to the POI download page, for example, Rest Area Combined.

For Internet Expolorer, right click on the "Garmin CSV" button, and select "Copy Shortcut", and paste it into your control file.

For FireFox, navigate to the download page, right click on the button, and select "Copy Link Location" and paste it into your
control file.

URL How-To

Thanks Mike & Evert for the How-To.

I appreciate it.

Fred
