How do you reset the arrow pointer on the garmin nuvi so that the arrow's tip is at the intersection

I have a garmin nuvi and it always shows the indicator arrow or auto at the intersection as the middle of the pointer not the tip as it should. Does anyone know how to offset this?
Have you tried
zooming in and out til youre satisfied? If you want actual distance, GPSRs are not 100% accurate on that in my experience.

Delete Current Vehicle
If you delete the currently used vehicle, it will reset your pointer to the system default.

I like the triangle with the round pointer on top!
I think I will use it

Be advised that lschwabe (the author) stated it won't have it. I wish it did, myself... But, it does do what he stated, and offsets the pointer to the tip. That's the one I use, and I like it despite not having the datum at the tip.
