GPS Antenna / Manhattan

Did anybody try using a GPS antenna in Manhattan NY? Because Im planning to buy one because the reception is not that good everytime i go to manhattan.

I drove through Manhattan

I drove through Manhattan back in November, aimlessly for about 2 hours one morning (3am). Had no problems keeping reception. SP c330

I live in ny and drive in the city all the time.. I do not lose my signal at all. I have a c530

Marriot Times Square - Nuvi 350

We were up there for a trade show last month. I don't know about using it in your car in the street, but on the sidewalk I had an extremely hard time locking in. I eventually gave up and just used the map feature. That worked well but it would have been nice to have the help of those Sats! The only thing I can figure is on the sidewalk you are close to the buildings and thus lose half of your sky

yeah when im between tall buildings i lose signal.
Im gonna buy the antenna and see what happens.

Never lost a signal with c550 in NYC

No Problem

I have a Nuvi 660 and have never lost the signal in Manhattan.
