AZ Rest Areas

We're leaving for AZ soon and I was wondering if the closed Rest Areas there had been marked or deleted from the RestAreasCombined file? I've been assigned to a High Blood Pressure med now and have to watch for stops along the way. Sure be warmer there!

Greetings from a very cold Flagstaff. The Combined Rest Area POI file available here is amazingly up-to-date. As I drive by rest areas that are closed due to state budget issues, I still get my 15000-foot alert but when looking at the info that appears on my nuvi, it lists the rest area as TEMP CLOSURE followed by further info.
Obviously, I haven't checked all rest areas in the state but for those that I've passed, they will be IDed as a TEMP CLOSURE if they're closed even though audible alerts and icons (if you've set them up and set an alert distance) will still tell you that a rest area is coming up.

Your temps are a lot like ours but I think you get more snow so keep it dry on Friday the 8th and I'll get to Phoenix. Thanks for the info.
