I live in Los Angeles and don't think the traffic receiver is very accurate.
Does anyone else have experience with the traffic receiver?

Nuvi 1690 Traffic Problems
I have a traffic receiver for my Nuvi 650 and have had a very positive experience with both accuracy and reliability in the Western Washington area.
Traffic 855
I use the GTM-20 with my Nuvi 855 and my only issue is that the KC area database doesn't always get cleaned up in a timely fashion once an accident is cleared. Every now and then I use the built in human unit to make a decision on if I should follow the prescribed route.
Traffic 1690
The 1690 uses different traffic radio and I think a different traffic system. I found the old Garmin receiver data was more accurate. The 1690 often ends up in traffic when it says there isn't any and avoids traffic that isn't there.
