does 275 model play alert sounds (MP3, WAV) for POI ?

hello,

does 275 model play alert sounds (MP3, WAV) for POI ?

cannot find such information anywhere and would like to know if my GPS will play a sound alery for certains POIs ?

when loading POI files I always include BMP bitmap file and alert sound file (MP3 or WAV), all files named same (except extension of course). still haven't heard that yet.

You need to use wav files

You need to use wav files since your unit does not have mp3 player. You also have to have sox.exe file in the same folder as poi loader.exe file. Here is a link to Gary Hayman's web site that is a must-have favorite.
