Adding picture with favourite spot

To add a photo to your Garmin unit.
1.Copy the Jpeg pictures you want from your computer
2.Connect unit to computer using usb cable.
3.Go to the Garmin drive and click on the Garmin folder.
4.Find the JPEG folder and click on it.
5.Paste your favorite pictures there.

To associate them to a favorite.
1.Touch where to then favorites.
2.Select the favorite you want to edit(add picture to ).
3.Select attach photo.

Edit.To view all the pictures you added.Touch tools,picture viewer and touch picture to view larger image.You also have sideshow option.

I did that but after copying picture to favorite when i tried to edit it with favorite its doesnt show any picture in JPEG folder. again i connected my device with computer and checked it, but photo is still there in JPEG folder. do you think it can happen because of size of picture? what size is recommended?

You stated in the post you copied to favorite.You paste a copy in the JPEG folder.See step 4

Now un-hook gps from computer.Now go to your favorites on the gps and touch where to then touch favorites.Now select the favorite you want the picture for.Once you have selected it.Touch edit then touch attach photo and the screen will come up showing the pictures you added to the JPEG folder.Just touch the one you want for that favorite.You should now see that picture beside that favorite.To enlarge just touch it.

I tried it on my 265 with various size jpegs with no problems.255 should work the same way.Like stated above you may have JPEG in wrong folder.
