755t Voice loudness

I am making an upgrade from 255 to a 755t, I had problem with Garmin Voice back in the 255. I also heard that the 755t has a small voice? anyone found this to be a problem? and any work around for this.

TTS Voice editor

It's the only tool you need for text-to-speech voices on Garmin.

Charlie. Nuvi 265 WT and Nuvi 2597 LMT. MapFactor Navigator - Offline Maps & GPS.

Thank you both of you.

Thank you both of you.

Guess we get what we pay for

Even using TTSVoiceEditor and setting the voice level all the way up to 99, you will still find that the voice is not as loud as the older Nuvis. I have a Nuvi 350 and the voice on that is much louder than the voice on my 755 modified with TTSVoiceEditor (voice level set at 99%). Its probably the crappy speaker on the device. I still remember paying $999.99 for my Nuvi 350 compared to the $199.99 I paid for the Nuvi 755. So cheaper price, cheaper quality.

BTW the Nuvi 350 is still going strong .. built like a tank .. no battery problems .. nothing.

Try slowing the voice down

You can slow the voice down a point or two to improve clarity as well. I have mine playing through external speakers and slowing the pace helps tremendously.
