I just purchased a Garmin 885T GPS and was wondering if it is compatible with a Verizon Motorola W766 Entice cell phone. I was particularly interested in knowing wether I could sync and download my address book to the GPS, and use voice dialing to my phone through the GPS.
did you check
Check the Garmin website for a list of Bluetooth compatible devices. There are reports that the full range of commands may not be available due to restrictions your carrier has put on the phone.

Why ask?
Why don't you just try and pair it? You'll have the answer in 30 seconds or less.

Takes a bit of time
With my 265WT I pair it with my Sony Erricson cell phone. After the intial pairing confirmation it takes about 3-5 min before the phone book fully loads into the GPS. FYI

Re: Garmin Compatible Cell Phones...
Hi Callan,
Here’s the link to Garmin’s list of compatible Bluetooth phones:
http://www8.garmin.com/bluetooth/phones.jsp
Although your specific phone isn’t listed, that doesn’t mean it won’t work with your 885T. As Garmin states that their list is incomplete...
Just start your 855T and then make your Motorola W766 Entice phone “Bluetooth discoverable” and you’ll have your answer, in no time at all.

I wouldn't even waste time checking the Garmin list of compatible phones. Even if your phone is on the list, you won't know which features work!
As others have said the best thing to do is just connect the phone to the gps and see if it works. If you don't have the phone yet then just take your gps device to a Verizon store and test it with the display phone.
Just ordered the new Verizon
Just ordered the new Verizon Motorola Droid. Has anyone had a had a chance to see if it pairs with the Nuvi 885T?
