Exporting Favorites from 660

I'm trying to export waypoints (favorites) that I have stored in my Nuvi 660 so I can import them into Google Earth. I don't see a way to export a list of stored favorites, or even view the coordinates on the 660.

Am I missing something? Any ideas?

Export

I'd suggest that you export them to Mapsource (if you have it loaded to your computer). They cannot be exported to Google Earth.

If you Nuvi works with

If you Nuvi works with MapSource, transfer the Favorites (called Waypoints in MapSource) from you Nuvi to MapSource. Do this from within MapSource

Then click the view menu and click "View in Google Earth ..."

This will open Google Earth and show you the Waypoints you have loaded in the MapSource window.

Exporting Favorites From 660

Just saw your post. Click on the "Garmin" folder on the Nuvi drive and open the "gpx" folder. Open the Current.gpx file with MapSource. Then simply click View, View in Google Earth. You'll be able to save your waypoints in Google Earth at this point.

You can also open MapSource and click transfer from device and just select the waypoints. Probably an easier way to go.
