Hello,
My question is how to set the tour guide option. For example, I would like to set the tour guide option for a Shell gas station. IF the POI name is "Shell" than do I rename it as "TourGuide Shell" or "Tour Guide Shell" ? I'm not sure if Tour Guide is supposed to be one word or two?
Also when the Shell gas station is right off the highway ( I could see it, but the alert won't pop up without the Tour Guide), what do you think I should make the distance? Half a mile, 1 mile, or something else?
Thank you in advance

I just started using it a couple weeks ago.
I used it for Cracker Barrel...
I labled them:

No space
I wanted plenty of advanced notification, so I set it for 12000'

"TourGuide" needs to be part of the POI filename. It must have a capital "T" and a capital "G", with no spaces. "TourGuide" can be at the beginning or the end of the filename...just as long as "TourGuide" is part of the POI's filename.
It's up to you to decide how far away from Shell gas stations you want the alert. I use 10,560ft for Rest Stops and Cracker Barrel, and 5,280ft for Time Zones - all using "TourGuide". I use 660ft for red light cameras - using the "redlight" alert method.

Thanks sdventure for the site, there are some good TourGuides there and some good information. I have been playing with some Tourguide POIs on my Nuvi 760, so far they all work.
